A popular generic name for the drive is star, as in star screwdriver or star bits. The official generic name, standardized by the International Organization for Standardization as ISO 10664, is hexalobular internal. (information taken off line.)
TORX SECURITY
Security Torx screws, the six-pointed star-shaped screw heads with the pin in the middle, are used in many digital objects to prevent tampering. Removing a security torx screw can be a hassle for those without the tool. (information taken off line.)
